Bull City Restoration

Bull City Restoration is an urban real estate redevelopment company dedicated to preserving
Durham's rich character while promoting environmentally sustainable living. BCR is owned and operated by a family of
Durham natives.

   We have 3 main objectives:

   Restore downtown Durham's beautiful historic homes and preserve the beauty and elegance of
   Durham's architecture.

   Foster environmentally sustainable living and support local business. We do this by carefully choosing the    building materials we use and employing modern techniques in energy efficient building and restoration.    We also aim to provide homes in areas that allow people to enjoy a 'walking' lifestyle and offer incentives    to our tenants to choose not to own cars. We deal almost exclusively with local businesses in buying    materials and services for our restoration work.

   Revitalize the urban communities in and around downtown Durham in a way that preserves not only the    architecture but the rich culture, ethnic and socio-economic character that makes Durham what it is.
